Amsterdam, Netherlands
This Jaguar XK150 FHC is a characterful and timelessly stylish classic British coupe, offered from long-term ownership and benefitting from an extensive restoration.
Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt naturally aspirated 3.4-litre straight-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
This example is reported to have been a UK-delivered model, which was imported and first registered in the Netherlands in March 1994.
It is offered for sale on behalf of its current owner, who has kept the car for the past 30 years.
The odometer indicates 50,034 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate, though this is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This XK150 FHC is finished in a shade of red, over a black leather-trimmed interior, featuring a beige headlining, a grey leather-trimmed centre console, and chrome trim highlights.
It rides on a set of 15-inch chrome cross-spoke wire wheels with two-spoke knock-offs, fitted with Michelin XVS tyres.
Equipment includes a four-spoke steering wheel, push-out front and rear quarter light windows, Smiths gauges, a passenger-side dashboard grab handle, and a heater.
This example has had the front and rear bumpers removed, simple chrome trim has been fitted on the front-end, and bracket inserts have been fitted to the back of the car. The seller notes the original bumpers are present.
Further enhancements include a stainless steel exhaust system, an aluminium bonnet, performance disc brakes all-round, Schroth harnesses, an upgraded cooling system, an aluminium radiator, an unleaded fuel conversion, and electric overdrive.
The car comes with a knock-off removal tool, original tool kit, two keys, the original owner’s manual, a sales folder, and invoices and photos relating to the restoration.
CONDITION
Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
Specific notes from the seller include: a full respray was carried out as part of the restoration in 2021, though there are some exterior blemishes, and the interior upholstery shows patination.
SERVICE HISTORY
This XK150’s most recent maintenance was carried out in June 2025 at an indicated 49,650 miles by Kolvenbach, which consisted of the first service following the engine rebuild, including an engine oil change and a general inspection following the rebuild and restoration.
An extensive ‘body-off’ restoration was carried out in 2021 by the renowned Jaguar specialist Kolvenbach in the Netherlands with supporting invoice.
The engine was completely rebuilt in 2022 by the renowned Jaguar specialist Kolvenbach in the Netherlands with supporting invoice.
