1958 Jaguar XK150 Roadster
This wonderful example was first delivered to Jaguar Cars New York in May 1958, finished in that very 1950’s colour scheme of Cream with a Red Leather interior. In more recent times the Jaguar has been repatriated back to the UK by a marque specialist, after which an exhaustive frame-off restoration was embarked upon. The restoration was comprehensive and is supported by invoices totalling over £50,000 for various works completed and parts acquired. The matching numbers engine was stripped, re-assembled and then re-fitted. All the brightwork has been either replaced or re-chromed along with a new set of wire wheels. The interior has also been re-trimmed again to a very high standard in blue, and the paint resplendent in a very stylish shade of ivory.
Offered with a UK V5C document, heritage certificate and thick file of invoices, this wonderful example of the XK is ready for long-distance touring once more.

This very well presented example was delivered new to Jaguar Cars New York in May 1958 and has more recently been repatriated to the UK where a comprehensive restoration was undertaken. The matching numbers engine was overhauled and the brightwork has been re-chromed along with a new set of wire wheels. The interior too has been renovated to a very high standard in blue, and the body was treated to a bare metal respray in a fabulous shade of ivory. In wonderful order this XK150 is ready for a new custodian and is offered with many invoices detailing the restoration, which totalled over £50,000, the UK registration document, and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023
1958 Jaguar XK150 3.4 Roadster
A lovely, left-hand drive example restored to a very high standard at a cost of over £50,000.
GUIDE PRICE: £65,000 - £75,000
JAGUAR XK150 ROADSTER
Registration Number 928 UYY
Chassis Number S830464
Engine Number V3917-8
Transmission Manual
Body Colour Old English White
According to its Jaguar Heritage Certificate, this well-presented left-hand drive XK150 3.4 Roadster was despatched to Jaguar Cars, New York on 30th May 1958 and onwards to its first US owner. In more recent times, the XK150 was repatriated to the these shores where a comprehensive restoration was undertaken.
The work was obviously extensive, with over £50,000 invested, and the results speak for themselves. The bodywork was taken down to bare metal and classically refinished in Old English White, all the brightwork was re-chromed and polished, the interior was retrimmed in navy blue leather to a very high standard, new chrome wire wheels were fitted, the matching numbers engine was rebuilt and, naturally, every other mechanical aspect of the venerable Jaguar received similar care and attention.
Accompanying the car is a history file containing a quantity of invoices, the aforementioned Heritage Certificate and photographs of the work carried out, all available for your inspection at our Documents Desk when you view the car, which we invite and encourage in order to appreciate the quality on offer.
