The model we are offering you here is an XK 150 3.4l coupé, first put into service in February 1959 in New York. It comes to us in its original configuration, with its cream-colored bodywork and red leather upholstery conforming to its Jaguar Heritage certificate. The current owner bought this Jaguar in 2006 from a Belgian private individual for the sum of € 35,000. Since then, he has taken care to regularly maintain and intelligently restore his car. Thus, and beyond the many invoices in the file since 2007, our XK 150 has recently received a complete new paint and a partial repair of the red leather upholstery. Indeed, its owner wanted to keep what could be, and in particular the door panels and the rear seats which have a very nice patina. As a whole, this XK 150 coupe presents very well, with impeccable alignments and mechanics in perfect working order. Both the engine and the cylinder head are original, and the car is still fitted with its Moss 4-speed gearbox. During our test, we appreciated the general behavior of the car, improved in particular by the installation of an electronic ignition. Apart from a slight squeal in the steering column, the engine was in excellent health. The XK 6-cylinder climbs linearly through revs and braking was as expected. This copy is, without hesitation, one of the most beautiful that we have been given to try in recent years.
