This fine XK150 rolled off the Browns Lane Jaguar plant on November 11, 1957, equipped as a left-hand drive Drophead Coupe example, fitted with a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive and destined for the booming North American Jaguar market. Finished in Cream over Red leather with a Black canvas top, it was dispatched to the US on December 12, 1957 to be distributed through Jaguar Car of New York. The early history of this Drophead is not recorded, but it was subject to a high quality restoration sometime ago. A folder of service records speaks to the care of ownership, although the car has been mothballed of late and has not been started recently. Given this state, some gentle recommissioning is recommended prior to active use.

A numbers matching example now showing in white with a beige top—but still the same red interior, it presents nicely in the metal. Offered with its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate and service records, this luxurious, top-of-the-line model of all the XK body styles features the fully evolved XK chassis with factory 4-wheel disc brakes. Once sorted, this Jaguar would be a lovely cruiser on weekend drives or long tours.
