List on eBay as item 200181063145 on the 4th December 2007. Current location given as Vancouver. There were pictures of the car which looked like she was in good condition.
Starting price USD $6,900 but below reserve (a long way below I suspect)

Current bid $30,223 reserve not met, 14 bids, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Jaguar XK150 Special Equipment model (SE meant more powerful engine, wire wheels, larger sway bars, white wall tires, vacuum tube radio, leaping cat hood mascot & twin spot lights). This numbers matching immaculate car is not just a show vehicle, but also suitable as a summer daily driver as ALL of the suspension bushings, joints etc have been recently replaced and the brakes have been serviced inclusive of the fitting of a new servo. This car originally rolled out of the Jaguar factory on January 7th. 1959 and was delivered to its first owner in California in 1960. The car spent all of its life in California until 2005, when I purchased the car from the fifth owner. The car had been completely restored by the fourth owner during the late eighties and comes complete with all tools and accessories (some original, some replicas). The original show room sales wallet (see photo) contains dealer documents that may not all be original but are complete. The color at that time was changed from black to primrose yellow and the interior changed from red to dark green. The restoration was documented with photographs and all receipts are available. This car is extremely rare as it is only one of approimately 90 cars that were produced in 1959 with an automatic transmission and an even fewer number as DHC SE models. The car is located near Vancouver, Canada and is part of a specialist's collection.

Current bid $1,009 reserve not met, 3 bids 9 days left in auction, buy it now price $120,000. Car now said to be in Langley, British Columbia.

Sellers description:
1959 Jaguar XK150 DHC 3.4 litre numbers matching car. This vehicle has lived nearly all its life in the California desert, so it is as dry as a bone. The spare wheel well shows all the original factory spot welds, just like the day they were made. Original show-room paperwork, tools, grease gun, jack etc. The twin 6v batteries have been replaced with a single 12v version.
When acquired 8 years ago from Palm Springs, the car was being used as a trailered show car. I rebuilt the carbs, replaced the suspension bushings and removed the oil pan due to an oil leak; the gasket was brittle from age, hence I took the opportunity to also replace the engine oil pump with an uprated 3.8 pump. Since then I have used the car as an 'ice-cream' car, averaging about 200 miles a year. The car could be used as a show car again with some very minor spot repairs on the paint and a little chrome polish on the cam covers.
Wonderfully satisfying car to drive as it has that real vintage feel; very relaxed driving with the BW gear box (original factory installed and numbers matching), no clunky gear-shift and heavy clutch, and a real piece of history. I am retiring so I have to down-size my collection (15 vehicles).

Current bid US $10,000 reserve not met 16 bids 6 days left in auction. Same location as above. 79k miles.

Sellers description:
This car could possibly be the best unrestored XK150 in the world, (in the 80s it was repainted and had a new interior and convertible top installed). It is a numbers matching car complete with documentation stretching back to its initial sale in Los Angeles. It also has an original tool kit and a vacuum tube AM radio which still works. It has spent most of its life in the bone dry desert of Palm Springs, California. The panels have not been adjusted and are just as they left the factory. The chrome (including the wheels and leaping cat) is all totally original and carries the very light patina of its 56 years but without any pitting. As previously stated, the car was repainted (changed from Black to Primrose Yellow) and re-trimmed (changed from Red to Green) about 30 years ago as the Palm Springs sun is hard on enamel and leather. The convertible top was also replaced (changed from Sand to Black). An engine sump gasket leak developed a few months ago and during its replacement the oil pump was also replaced. Additionally all of the suspension rubber components were replaced and the brakes were also serviced. The two 6 volt batteries have been replaced with one 12 volt unit. The car is still positive ground and retains its original generator which was recently serviced. Mileage is under 80K. The car still has its factory fitted Borg-Warner automatic gearbox, which makes it a delight to drive; no struggling with the heavy clutch and the brutal Moss box. The spare tire compartment is a real time warp as the factory spot welds are still clearly visible in its original totally corrosion free state. In the 10 years I have had the car in Canada, it has been kept in my heated shop and has never been driven in the rain; and it never rains in Palm Springs!
