This car is mentioned in "Jaguar Driver" magazine January 1979. Registration number YDU 455. The owner, Rodney Coffin of Exeter was seeking information on the 8 previous owners (he lists their name and dates) He stated that the original colour was cream and then various colours until the present(1979)red. This car history is complicated. Anders Clausager reports in his book XK140/150 In Detail that this car was originally built as a LHD chassis no T832016 (3.4S), which was built in Feb 1959. The car was converted to RHD and given the chassis no S820046DN (3.4S model, despite the S prefix instead of the normal T prefix). The Jaguar factory retained S820046DN until Sep 1959, probably for testing and experimental work. It was sold as second-hand through Coombs, Guildford. This RHD car exists, last heard of in Germany.Subsequently, a second LHD OTS was built and allocated the chassis number S832016DN (a standard 3.4 model). There is no further record of this second car.
