This 1959 Jaguar XK150S roadster was acquired by the selling dealer 13 years ago, reportedly from its second owner. Finished in cream over a red leather interior, the car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six equipped with three carburetors and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with electric overdrive. Maintenance in October 2018 reportedly included an oil change, two new batteries, a carburetor cleaning, and a fluid level check. This XK150S is offered with a black soft top, a red tonneau cover, factory tools, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Tennessee title.
The car is finished in cream with a black soft top. The condition of the paint and trim is shown up close in the gallery below, as are several paint meter readings. A dent is noted in the left rear fender.
Knock-off 16″ wire wheels wear Pirelli 185 series tires that are said to be approximately 20 years old. A red tonneau cover is included in the sale and shown fitted in the gallery.
The cabin features red leather upholstery with matching carpets and door panels. A black steering wheel and dash-mounted rearview mirror are equipped.
The leather-covered dashboard features Smiths gauges which are shown in detail in the gallery. The 5-digit odometer reads 47k miles, approximately 1,000 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 3.4-liter inline-six features triple carburetors and was reportedly serviced by the selling dealer’s Jaguar service department in October 2018 with an oil change, two new batteries, a carburetor cleaning, and a fluid level check.
Engine number #VS1248-9 can be seen stamped into the block above and matches that listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate below.
Shifting is through a 4-speed manual transmission with an electrically-actuated overdrive unit. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate shows the original numbers and colors as well as a production date of October 3, 1958 and US delivery. A factory tool kit is included in the sale.
