Private Party or Dealer: Dealer

This 1959 Jaguar XK150S roadster was acquired by the selling dealer 13 years ago, reportedly from its second owner. Finished in cream over a red leather interior, the car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six equipped with three carburetors and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with electric overdrive. Maintenance in October 2018 reportedly included an oil change, two new batteries, a carburetor cleaning, and a fluid level check. This XK150S is offered with a black soft top, a red tonneau cover, factory tools, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Tennessee title.

The car is finished in cream with a black soft top. The condition of the paint and trim is shown up close in the gallery below, as are several paint meter readings. A dent is noted in the left rear fender.

Knock-off 16″ wire wheels wear Pirelli 185 series tires that are said to be approximately 20 years old. A red tonneau cover is included in the sale and shown fitted in the gallery.

The cabin features red leather upholstery with matching carpets and door panels. A black steering wheel and dash-mounted rearview mirror are equipped.

The leather-covered dashboard features Smiths gauges which are shown in detail in the gallery. The 5-digit odometer reads 47k miles, approximately 1,000 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 3.4-liter inline-six features triple carburetors and was reportedly serviced by the selling dealer’s Jaguar service department in October 2018 with an oil change, two new batteries, a carburetor cleaning, and a fluid level check.

Engine number #VS1248-9 can be seen stamped into the block above and matches that listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate below.

Shifting is through a 4-speed manual transmission with an electrically-actuated overdrive unit. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate shows the original numbers and colors as well as a production date of October 3, 1958 and US delivery. A factory tool kit is included in the sale.

This lovely low mileage rock solid ,rare Jaguar XK150 S Roadster is being offered for sale for the first time in years! The car is a true "S" car with numbers matching engine and drive line. The car is straight with perfect factory body gaps and panel fit.The car has working overdrive with a tight transmission. The car shows no signs of rust, rust history or accident history.

The run and drive is as strong, quick, and responsive as one would desire in a Jaguar XK Series.Front suspension is tight, brakes work properly, engine is strong, freshly serviced and tuned. The car gives that characteristic TRI Carb Jaguar roar under torque. "S" engine number is VS1248-9,VIN # T831490DN

The soft top is in good condition. The leather is original, carpets are in good condition as is the door cards, windlace, tonneau cover. Chrome is void of scratches and pitting,it is brilliant. Tires are fresh set of Vredestein

The local well known Southeast Jaguar whisperer stated he wished all the Jaguars that came through his doors were all of this integrity level.
