Current bid $7,000 reserve not met, 1 bid, 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Jaguar XK 120 DHC - S - 1954
In very original condition, needing full restoration.

Previous owner started to prepare for full restoration. Since 1971 stored in dry storage. To the best of my knowledge, this car is almost complete. One chrome front windshield strip is missing and to be accurate, I am sure that there are some small miscellaneous parts missing. Again, this very rare automobile is consideration its age, in very original condition, showing little rust, and it needs complete restoration! The car is stored in New Jersey, very easy to ship domestic/international, approx. 80 MLS from Port Elisabeth, NJ. Clear title on hand.

Car offered for sale in New Zealand via www.carandclassic.co.uk website. Asking 30,000 UK Pounds with the following description.

This rare Jaguar XK120 convertible has been dry stored for many years. Originally exported to the US it is in LHD format.Bought out to New Zealand sevral years ago to restore. The car is in remarkably good condition with very minor rust issues, the chassis is excellent. The body is straight and very well preserved. The car was stripped down in the US some years ago,I have checked through the contents and there is an almost full inventory of the original parts carefully packed in large plastic storage boxes. The SE model included wire wheels and a higher HP engine. The hood bows and structure is complete although it will need a new hood.
Also included in the sale is a RHD steering box and a new top quality [made in the UK] dash and wood trim set[see pic]. This car is very original and is a very good basis for the restoration of a very rare and valuable Jaguar.
The car is situated in New Zealand and I will assist with loading and paperwork from Port Chalmers international container port.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
