The 1953 Jaguar XK120 Drophead Coupe we have on offer for you today is in fact an SE model and is in superb order throughout having, during the previous private ownership, received lots of lavish attention to every aspect of the car. It was fully restored and repainted in Jaguar Indigo Blue, new leather upholstery, stainless steel wires and a new duck hood were fitted, all the woodwork was replaced and all the chrome work was refurbished where necessary.
We have not seen the car during its present private ownership of over four years but it certainly had a lovely exhaust note and good oil pressure then with the engine temperature being regulated by the Kenlow fan. It has front disc brakes fitted and in total thousands of pounds have been spent for which the bills and photographs of the work done are, we believe, available.
The car was imported some years ago in left hand drive format but it was converted during the restoration, some 6/7 years ago. and is now an outstanding example that warrants a very close inspection. A testament to the quality of the restoration work undertaken is that even the clock on the tachometer is in working condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
