Jaguar XK 140 3.4 Litre -S- FHC, year 1956. Chassis (VIN) number S815672BW. Colour blue metallic with a two-tone blue/grey leather interior and blue carpet. This tremendous Jaguar XK 140 3.4 Litre -S- Fixed Head Coupe was just finished after extensive 'nut and bolt' restoration! The colour scheme of the body and the interior is just as the car left the Jaguar factory in 1956. The automobile is in brand new concours (show) condition. A Heritage Certificate is present stating that the body/engine combination is matching and that the car is factory fitted with the 'Special Equipment' package. The -S- engine delivers an additional 20 bhp. to the standard 3.4 Litre XK engine. During restoration the original automatic gearbox was exchanged by a manual 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. A good decision in our opinion considering drivability, acceleration and sheer driving fun! This fine Jaguar features a MotoLita steering wheel with wooden rim, a beautiful classic radio, 5 chrome wire wheels, a Stainless Steel exhaust system, electronic ignition and an automatic/electric cooling fan.
